My name is Giannis (Yannis) Koutsouradis being serving onboard GAS Tanker vessels currently as Master (CAPTAIN A). My career started since 1998 (Ceres chemical tankers) as deck cadet jumping on LNG Tankers on 2006, as a 3rd Officer, and since 2014 as a Master. I am 45 years old, father of two great children and husband of gorgeous wife born and living in Chios Island. I am an athlete participating in high endurance sports. Although, until age 32, I was overweight and not involved in any sport, I have chose to take the chance and change my lifestyle when start dealing with cycling running and thereafter with extreme sports challenges such Ironman Challenges, EXTREME Triathlon events, ULTRA running (100miles and more). Being an athlete of this type requires passion and daily training, both during the time ashore and onboard. During his services onboard, I try to find ways to keep myself active and fit. - Swimming: In a 3-meter swimming pool with his feet tied to the edge. - Cycling: Cycles for two 3-hour bike rides per week on the indoor stationary turbo trainer in the vessel's gym - Running: Running on the gym’s treadmills weather permitting and on the outer vessel’s deck if weather allows as always.
