Set on a hilltop amongst a sea of vines and famed for its vineyards and castles, the medieval village of Radda in Tuscany will be the start for all distances. The looped course of the 103km Ultra Trail Chianti Castles (UTCC), which packs 4,2000m+ of elevation, will take runners on a journey through time as they retrace an ancient route connecting the many castles of the region while passing through the wonderful Chianti estates.
The 73.3km/2,800m+ Chianti Ultra Trail (CUT) winds through the Chianti Storico territory where runners can explore the sweet hills full of vineyards and olive groves, as well as the forest paths that climb up Mount San Michele taking them up to the regions highest peak at 900m.
The 42km/1,5400m+ Chianti Marathon Trail (CMT) and the 20km/800m+ Chianti Trail (CHT) are full of the charm of their longer counterparts giving runners the chance to traverse the white roads that connect the vineyards and the surrounding hills. All Finishers will be rewarded for the extraordinary efforts with Running Stones which can be used for the UTMB World Series Finals lottery.
The 15km Chianti Walk & Run (CWR) ensures there is a distance for everyone.
