What is a UTMB® World Series Qualifier?
A UTMB® World Series Qualifier is a qualifying race in the 20K, 50K, 100K or 100M categories which contributes towards every Finishers Performance Index and gives privileged access to the UTMB® World Series Events*. The privileged access corresponds to:
- Exclusive pre-sales period
- Early bird prices secured
- Access to races on a first come first served basis
*Excluding sold-out races where a draw will be organized. In the event of a draw, subscription will be exclusive to Performance Index holders.
How do you apply?
Only trail races can be qualifying races. UTMB® will judge whether a race meets the criteria to be a UTMB® World Series Qualifier, to subsequently register it and award the organizer with the corresponding logo.
Race organizers interested in becoming a UTMB® World Series Qualifier must submit an application on this platform. Registration opens early June. It is free to apply to become a UTMB® World Series Qualifier.
To become a UTMB® World Series Qualifier, event organizers must provide the following information for each race they intend to apply for: name of the event, name of the race, distance, elevation gain, website. Event organizers will commit to respecting the UTMB® Ethics charter. When the race is over, event organizers will have to summit their results on the dedicated platform.
